What’s the down payment needed for the purchase?

A. Yes, every house will be in good, rentable condition – with a tenant already in place! We spend roughly $15,000 to $25,000 per renovation and after we’re complete we have the property inspected by a professional, licensed home inspector.

Will I get to inspect the property before I decide to purchase?

A. Yes, we will set an appointment at the property after we have completed any improvements/repairs, and you will be able to walk the property. We also provide you with a professional home inspection report and a one year home warranty.

How do I know I am buying the property with instant built-in equity?

A. We get a opinion of value from a licensed appraiser and pass that on for review. If the tenant moves out before the 3rd month following your purchase of the property, we will pay you for that lost rent during those first 3 months. For instance, if your tenant’s monthly rent is $1,200 and they move out after paying the first month, Fortress will pay you $2,400 to cover the next 2 months.
